- EASA ATPL (A) or CPL (A) with ATPL Credit or MPL (A) without operator binding (a German license is desirable)
- If you have a valid A320 type rating preferred, alternatively A330 type rating
- General higher education entrance qualification, technical college entrance qualification, subject-specific university entrance qualification
- Good knowledge of German in speaking and writing
- Negative drug test
- Valid background check and, if necessary, declaration of impunity
- EU citizenship, for non-EU citizens: residence and work permit
- Unrestricted passport
- Currently employed as a cockpit crew in the Lufthansa Group or due to operational termination of an employment relationship within the Lufthansa Group after June 30, 2020
