Shall be acceptable to the Authority as a Nominated Person on the KMMA AOC and as Head of Training of the CCTO.
The NPCT will be a suitably qualified person whose qualifications have been submitted to and approved by both the Authority and the Company.
Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
Comprehensive knowledge of (i) the applicable EU safety regulations and any associated requirements and procedures; (ii) the Company’s operations specifications; and (iii) the need for, and content of, the relevant parts of the operations manual.
Familiarity with management systems preferably in the area of aviation.
A minimum of at least five (5) years of management experience in a comparable organisation, including a minimum of two (2) years within the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position.
Must have a thorough knowledge of crew training concepts for flight crew, cabin crew, and operations control personnel.
Shall have experience in cabin crew training and be well versed in associated procedures and regulations.
Has experience in working with both inexperienced and experienced trainees.
Well-versed in the latest and relevant training developments within the aviation industry.
Proficient in the requirements of relevant regulations concerning AOC holders.
Ability to liaise with the regulating authorities.
Possess the aptitude to develop and evaluate new training techniques, as well as the ability to specify the syllabi and equipment required for such training programmes.
Have received training in the legal requirements and obligations of a nominated person within an AOC.
Experience and disposition to implement the strategic changes to the training of flight crew and cabin crew.
