Additional requirements

  • Shall be acceptable to the Authority as a Nominated Person on the KMMA AOC and as Head of Training of the CCTO.
  • The NPCT will be a suitably qualified person whose qualifications have been submitted to and approved by both the Authority and the Company.
  • Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of (i) the applicable EU safety regulations and any associated requirements and procedures; (ii) the Company’s operations specifications; and (iii) the need for, and content of, the relevant parts of the operations manual.
  • Familiarity with management systems preferably in the area of aviation.
  • A minimum of at least five (5) years of management experience in a comparable organisation, including a minimum of two (2) years within the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of crew training concepts for flight crew, cabin crew, and operations control personnel.
  • Shall have experience in cabin crew training and be well versed in associated procedures and regulations.
  • Has experience in working with both inexperienced and experienced trainees.
  • Well-versed in the latest and relevant training developments within the aviation industry.
  • Proficient in the requirements of relevant regulations concerning AOC holders.
  • Ability to liaise with the regulating authorities.
  • Possess the aptitude to develop and evaluate new training techniques, as well as the ability to specify the syllabi and equipment required for such training programmes.
  • Have received training in the legal requirements and obligations of a nominated person within an AOC.
  • Experience and disposition to implement the strategic changes to the training of flight crew and cabin crew.
