Minimum requirements
- Flight time is not specified by the employer. Minimum 1500 hours is indicated due to mandatory ATPL requirements for this position; actual time required may vary.
Additional requirements
- Flight Medical Class 1
- ATPL (A)
- Previous experience in the Flight Test environment
- English language (negotiation level)
- Significant experience on multi crew transport category aircraft
- Desireable requirements:
- Graduate of a recognised flight test training school
- EASA ATPL (A) with Flight Test Rating
- Type Rating on an Airbus Type
- Previous experience in production flight testing of heavy aircraft
- Knowledge of the Airbus production flight test environment
- Operational experience in the airline environment
- German language (beginner/intermediate)
- French language (beginner/intermediate)

Then we have the right new job challenge for you! An immediate vacancy for a Test Pilot (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) at our test centre in Hamburg Finkenwerder.
You will operate in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment, working closely with experts from many teams across Airbus Commercial Aircraft. As a test pilot, you will be responsible for preparing and executing production test and customer acceptance flights. You can also expect to conduct technical flight tests on in-service aircraft such as maintenance check flights and tests of corporate jet conversions.
Work conditions
Please note that this position is based in Hamburg but that missions to Toulouse or other Airbus Flight Test bases are required.
