Job description

Non-seniority list instructor (NLIS) teaching in both Flight Training Devices and Simulators for the Delta Flight Training department and the Delta Part 142 Aircrew Training Center.

NSLI will be subject to annual, random and periodic performance reviews both as an instructor and as a pilot during Initial and Continuing Qualification training.

Work conditions

Scheduling
  • Instructors are permitted to request days off; however, they must have acceptable availability which normally means be available twice the number of requested workdays.
  • Instructors must be available nights weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Instructors must be willing to work at non-ATL off-site training centers.
  • Instructors can expect to be scheduled for 8-17 simulator events per month.

Compensation & benefits

  • The position is part-time for a 3-year term (extensions subject to employer review).
